Overview

Come grow your career with BIX Produce! We have an immediate opening for a Day Warehouse Material Handler. The Material Handler moves produce within the facility, operates forklifts, and loads products onto delivery trucks.

  • Starting pay is $20.00 up to $23.00 an hour
  • Located 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul
  • Scheduled 5 days per week; must be able to work on weekends
  • 5AM-8AM start - Warehouse Completion

 

Responsibilities

  • Properly stacking all product using forklift
  • Move product to proper storage area
  • Loading pallets into trucks in a timely manner
  • Replenishment of product pick locations
  • Put away inbound product to the warehouse
  • Maintain a safe working environment to reduce injuries and workers compensation claims.
  • Food Safety as it relates to this position.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Previous experience operating forklift equipment.
  • Previous experience operating power pallet jack.
  • Previous warehouse experience required. 
  • Previous experience utilizing a voice pick system preferred
  • Ability to use a handheld RF scanner
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manual/physically demanding work environment (manufacturing, warehouse, construction, etc.)
  • Must be able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately, strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds plus on a regular basis
  • Must be able to work in cold temperatures (0 to 40 degrees)
  • Work as part of a team
  • Background Check required.
